Mid Atlantic Storage Systems, Inc. (MASSI) was founded in 1984 as an authorized, independent dealer of Engineered Storage Products Company (ESPC) of DeKalb, Illinois. The company currently has 50 employees and is a licensed general contractor installing water storage and wastewater treatment tanks in a seven state territory. MASSI has been awarded "Dealer of the Year" status by ESPC for top sales volume every year since 1987.

Construction operations are performed by our foundation crews, tank structure crews, and finish-up/miscellaneous work crews. Specialized jacking systems are used to erect the tanks from the top down so that cranes are not required and workers do not leave the ground. This erection system permits us to erect tanks safely and efficiently; it also allows us to expand the tanks vertically in the future if water storage demands increase.

Our tanks are sold by manufacturer's representative firms who actively work with consulting engineers and customers to specify our products. MASSI closely supports the reps in their sales efforts with on-going product training, advertising and promotional activities.

Our exclusive ESPC sales territory covers the entire states of Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, and Indiana; the southern half of Ohio bounded on the north and including the counties of: Preble, Montgomery, Clark, Madison, Franklin, Fairfield, Perry, Muskingum, Guernsey, Belmont and Jefferson; the western part of Pennsylvania bounded on the east by and including the counties of McKean, Cameron, Clearfield, Centre, Union, Snyder, Juniata, Perry, Cumberland and York.

Here at MASSI we have a desire to belong to the community. We enjoy taking part in the following programs:

Mid Atlantic Storage Systems, Inc. has been involved with Habitat for Humanity since its inception in Fayette County, Ohio in 1994. MASSI is a financial contributor as a member of the "Founder's Club". In addition we also provide construction expertise, equipment and labor at the job sites. Jerry Morris, MASSI president, has served on the HFH executive board as well as chaired the building committee. Several of our employees have received community recognition for the many hours volunteered building these homes. (see photo on the right -- an example of a home we helped build)

Mid Atlantic Storage Systems, Inc. has a vested interest in both the local city and county school systems. Our financial contribution to both schools has supported and promoted academic, athletic and cultural activities. We have provided some of the school's classrooms with used computer equipment to encourage students to keep up with technology. Several of our employee's have become personally involved with the schools as coaches and advisory members on academic boards.

A Christmas tradition to support Fayette County Food Pantry and Hospice was started by Mid Atlantic Storage Systems, Inc. in 1993. It has been going strong ever since! Every year our employees look forward to the challenge of raising money for Hospice by purchasing "Hearts for Hospice". In early December we gear up for our food drive to restock the empty shelves of the Fayette County Food Pantry. Employee donations are matched by MASSI. A few days prior to Christmas the goods are delivered, resulting in a wonderful contribution to each charity.
